The X-AIR electronic device spacer

Puts an eXtra AIR gap under your device.

An extra air gap underneath your electrical appliance can make the world of difference to the longevity of your device. Although appliances are designed to work at high temperatures, it appears that other factors such as ambient temperature of the room, and lack of air flow or ventilation can have a detrimental effect.

The number one reason why machines fail is due to over heating.

How many people these days have a DVR, a games console, a satellite receiver, a DVD player, and even a Broadband Router? And how many people have these units all stacked happily on top of each other. Sometimes these units are stacked away neatly inside a cupboard under the t.v aswell. It is little wonder that over-heating occurs. How many people do you know who have had a DVD player ‘pack up’. Or know of a DVR that’s ‘on the blink’. What many people do not realise is that our t.v connected devices are getting more and more powerful, and smaller. The processors inside these devices give off a tremendous amount of heat as a byproduct of intense processing power. Connected inside our ‘old fashioned’ desk top computers these processors had plenty of room, and vents, with sometimes 2 or 3 fans to keep everything cool.
